Mission Statement

Our mission is to deliver quality individualized care to participants based on assessment and need. To enhance the dignity and self-respect of all of our participants, and to promote participation in all aspects of community life, and socialization with others.

Believing that adults regardless of their impairment can benefit by participating in a community where they are accepted for who they are, and have opportunities to experience a sense of purpose, success, and socialization. We also strive to not pressure our participants to be anyone they are not, and encourage them to be everything they can be.

Celebrating life in a compassionate and dignified manner has always been Young at Heart’s philosophy of care.

Young at Heart respects the individual rights, strengths, values and preferences of all our participants. We encourage individuals to socialize to the fullest extent possible with the goal of promoting good physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

We also provide families with encouragement, support and education as they face their roles as caregivers.

In our uniquely supportive environment, along with our professional team members, Young at Heart is committed to this preservation of senior dignity and independence by providing socialization, support, and excellent customer service to all of our participants.
